About North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL)
North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL) was formed in the year 2002. It is a joint venture between Tata Power and Government of NCT, Delhi. The majority stake is held by Tata Power. Currently the company caters to some 12 lakh consumers and has a peak load of around 1350 MW. NDPL as of now distributes electricity in the North & North West areas of Delhi. The company has received the ‘National Award for Meritorious Performance’ thrice by the Ministry of Power, Govt of India.
